Ramona Valdez

Ramona H Valdez, 76 passed away May 30, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born February 28, 1942 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Telesforo Torres, Sr. and Enriqueta Torres. She was a loving wife, a remarkable mother and protective Nana to all her grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patsy Torres; brothers, Manuel, Alfred and Paul Torres.
She is survived by the love of her life, Frank Valdez her loving husband of 54 years, of Aransas Pass; sons, Patrick Valdez (Misty) of Aransas Pass, Franklin Valdez (Yvonne) of Portland; daughters, Marie Tice (Jimmy) of Corpus Christi, Lori Mota (Ram) and Jennifer Valdez of Portland; brothers, Telesforo Torres, Jr., Angel Torres both of Aransas Pass, Joe Torres of Houston, Robert Torres of Aransas Pass; sisters, Virginia Logsdon, Julia Esquivel both of Aransas Pass, Maria Elrod of Goliad, Jennie Moreno and Rose Patterson both of Aransas Pass; grandchildren, Christopher, Claudia, Bella Valdez, Brieanna, John, Brandon Valdez, Esteban Chapa, Roman Mota, Delanie Mota; great grandchildren, Marisela Chapa, Emery Mota; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-9:00pm Friday, June 1, 2018 with Rosary recited at 7:00pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, June 2, 2018 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
