Ramiro Hinojosa Pena, Sr. passed away at his residence on June 2, 2026 . He was born in Corpus Christi on December 27, 1963 to Ysidro and Rafaela Pena.

Ramiro grew up in Gregory, Tx. Graduating from Gregory Portland High School , class of 1982. He married Anita Hinojosa on November 24, 1984.

He favorite pastimes were playing games on the computer, softball, supporting the Gregory Volunteer Fire Department, he was head Usher at the Immaculate Conception Church, St. Bernadette Angels, and the Maintenance Committee for ICC, bingo, listening to his favorite music, darts and enjoying his Sloppy Joes.

Ramiro was a very hard-working , very involved father and grandpa, loving husband, caring brother, full of life, a very devoted Catholic , he enjoyed watching the Houston Astros, Tennessee Titans (formerly Houston Oilers), and the San Antonio Spurs.

He is preceded by his beloved wife Anita Pena, his parents, Ysidro and Rafaela Pena, his grandparents, Ernesto and Emilia Hinojosa, and Uvaldo and Elvira Pena and In-laws, Antonio and Paula Garcia.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Ramiro Pena, Jr. and Eric (Tori Deloy). Grandchildren, Jeremiah Pena, Alexis Pena, Izyah Deloy, Xzavian Medina, Ethyn Pena, Eric Pena, Jr., Ameya Pena,De’yanna Pena, and Annie Pena along with his siblings, Belen (Tony) Moreno and Chido (Veronica) Pena, and of course his cherished dog Lil One Pena.
