Paula Huff

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Paula Denise McLain Huff. Paula's family was unprepared for this unexpected loss. Paula was just 66 years old, she passed in the early morning of February 2, 2022 in her sleep. She was born on July 12, 1955, attended Rockport Fulton High School where she was given the distinct honor of "Most Beautiful". She graduated from Texas State (fna Southwest Texas State University) where she trained & qualified as a dental hygienist. She began her career as a hygienist in the Houston area.

Paula was married in 1980 to William Robert Huff where they embarked on their journey of living & working overseas and traveling four continents from 1980-1988 and again from 2003-2015. She became one of the first American dental hygienist in Dubai, UAE.

In 2015, they decided after seeing the world that they would build their home in Rockport to be closer to family and friends.

Anyone that knew Paula was touched by her kindness, generosity and loving personality. Paula had a strong Christian faith and she loved to hug. She was truly a peacemaker, was always a source of positivity and she loved her little terrier, Jessie.

She is survived by her mother, Wynell McLain and father, Del McLain; her younger sister, Patricia McLain Reedy (David), brother, John Michael McLain (Kim); her husband, William Robert Huff; son, Travis Robert Huff; niece, Allison McLain as well as her extended family in Fresno, California, Blooming Groove, Corsicana, Austin and Bastrop, Texas.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in her honor at a later date.
