In Loving Memory of our Sweet Nancy
It is with heavy hearts that we share our beloved Nympha (Nancy) Rios Arispe, age 74, of Fulton, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 7, 2022. Nancy was born on July 6, 1947 in Rockport, Texas and lived most of her life in Fulton. Nancy ended her fight with anaplastic thyroid cancer peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.
She was the owner of Nancy’s Beauty Shop since 1971 and Captain Benny’s Seafood Restaurant with her husband Capt. Benny Arispe since 1999. Once you walked through these doors, you were welcomed by Nancy’s beautiful smile and warm embrace. She was so blessed to be around everyone and considered you family.
As former Mayor of Fulton, Nancy brought beautification to the community, such as adding a children’s playground and hosting holiday events at Fulton Beach. Nancy enjoyed being part of many community organizations that she contributed to and volunteered her time for a greater cause, sharing these experiences with others.
The last two years of her life, Nancy also worked for Favor delivery service and gained many more friendships along the way. She felt this to be a calling of support for others in need.
What Nancy loved most was spending time with family, friends, and her community, as well as traveling, gardening and entertaining.
We will all miss Nancy’s contagious laugh, beautiful smile and grateful heart. She truly loved everyone and we loved her just as much.
We will continue to celebrate her life with “Happy Tears” and great memories as she requested.
We want to thank the life-long fellowships from Sacred Heart Catholic Church (Father Ray Yrlas), Victory Chapel Church (Brother Boyce Laqua), and Incarnate Word Academy CC for instilling faith and love within our family. We Love you!
