Nellie Kelley‑Schuster, age 55, passed away on March 11, 2026. She was born on January 17, 1971, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, to Terry and Sandra Kelley.

Nellie married the love of her life, Scott Schuster, on November 30, 2010. She was a devoted wife, mother, step‑mother, sister, and friend. Nellie was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Portland, Texas, and though she was raised Catholic, her faith journey remained an important part of her life.

Nellie lived with passion, pride, and purpose. She was known for her strong work ethic, her leadership, and her heart for people. Professionally, she built a successful career in property management, mentoring and training many who worked alongside her. Into the family's business, she brought vision, dignity, and pride to everything she touched.

Beyond her work, Nellie had many passions. She loved bowling, racing stock cars at Corpus Christi Speedway as Nellie Kelley #88, and caring deeply for animals. Her love for her pets—and all living creatures—reflected her gentle heart and belief in kindness and karma.

Above all, Nellie loved her family. She embraced a blended family with grace, creating a true home filled with love, respect, and loyalty. She was described by her son as passionate and prideful, words that truly capture her spirit.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Scott Schuster; her children, Komiko Wilson and Chance Salazar; her step‑daughters, Melody Schuster and Maile Schuster; her sister, Susan Helgeser; and Mother-in-Law, Dora Schuster.

A Celebration of Life honoring Nellie will be held on April 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Clubhouse of Sea Breeze RV Resort. 1026 Sea Breeze Dr. Portland, Texas 78374.
