Nancy Randall

July 11, 1943 — August 2, 2023

Nancy Jay Randall

Nancy Jay Billy Randall of Rockport, formerly of Austin, left us on August 2, 2023. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to so many people and her heart was open to everyone.

She is predeceased by her parents, Roger and O'Jayne Billy, husband of 52 years Edward (Jack) Randall, brothers Steven and Gary Billy, and son Jimmy Randall.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Randall and Vicki Randall, Toni Barr, Cynthia (Cindy) and son-in-law Floyd Mallett and Randi L.L. Randall. She is also survived by her siblings, Kathy Billy, Kris Billy and wife Lin, Stephen Reid, Ross Canady and Shao-Li Billy, in-laws Patricia and Barrack Watts and Richard and Lynne Randall. Her grandchildren, Roger and Toni Randall, Bronwyn and Kurtis Kermani, Cassidy and her husband Sean Alizadeh and Leif and Lucas Montgomery. Her many nieces and nephews know how much they are loved by their Aunt.

She was born July 11, 1943 in Stillwater, Minnesota but got to Texas as quickly as she could to live with her grandmother, Lillian Letisha Leonard so she could enjoy our sunshine. She attended Wm. B. Travis high school in Austin.

She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Rockport where she made many friends whom she felt she had known her entire life.

We are assuming that she was actually born as wild rumors have been spread of her having no belly button though she always claimed it was stolen by her sister. She blamed Minnesota for the fact that she could not pronounce "onion" but rather pronounced it "ion". She had a wonderful sense of humor and was just as likely to make fun of herself as much as anyone else. She gave the best hugs ever. She made the best deviled eggs in the world as well as home made soup, pumpkin bread, cucumber salad and fudge that was great served on ice cream since it never set. The slot machines and Bingo halls in heaven will welcome her with open arms and good numbers. She will be missed by all who knew her. We love you Mom, you will be in our hearts forever. Until we meet again....
