Morris Neeley, 84, of Rockport, TX passed away in his sleep on February 24, 2023
Morris was born February 3, 1939, in San Angelo, TX to Luis and Lucille (Hull) Neeley.
He is survived by his 4 children, Mark Neeley of Temple, Cristina Neeley of Troy, Jennifer Weaver of Georgetown and her husband Todd, Jason Neeley of Austin and his wife Claire, sister Rita Adams of Dallas, brother Ron Neeley of Cedar Creek Lake and his wife Melodie, 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Luis and Lucille Neeley of San Angelo, brother Curtis Neeley of Horseshoe Bay, brother Dan Neeley of Santa Fe, brother-in-law Keith Adams of Dallas and sister in-law Linda Neeley of Horseshoe Bay.
Morris lived a full life and had great stories of his many adventures. Growing-up in San Angelo he made many lifelong friends. He was a helicopter crew chief in the Vietnam War. He loved to play cards with his poker buddies in Abilene. He enjoyed deer hunting and looking for arrowheads all over west Texas. He retired from insurance sales in 2003 and moved to Rockport shortly after. While living in Rockport he enjoyed fishing and living the RV life. He looked forward to his "winter Texan" friends returning every year with new stories of their own traveling adventures.
He is loved by so many and will be missed by all.
