Mitchell Moses of Rockport, Texas, age 94, passed away on October 19, 2026.

Mitchell was born in Pawnee, TX. He grew up in Pawnee, TX, and the Rockport Area. He worked and lived in many places in South TX. He also worked many years as a truck driver and Managed Mud Warehouses for oil Companies. Mitchell served in the Marines during the Korean War in the 1950s.

He was married to Betty Ann Peltier for 62 years. He was blessed in the next Chapter of his life to marry Ruby Bell. Mitchell and Betty Ann enjoyed being with children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He enjoyed Sunday School class and church family. He enjoyed Music Jamborees and playing dominoes with family and friends.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Ann Peltier; son Thomas Mathew Moses; daughter Tammy Jean Moses; Parents John and Margie Moses; siblings, Willie, Vernon, Fannie, Pud, Kenneth, Monroe and Charles.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ruby Bell of Rockport, TX.; Son Tim Moses (Susan) of Brazoria, TX; Grandchildren, Aaron Moses (Gracie) from New Braunfels Tx., Zach Moses (Tori) of College Station Tx., Shawn Moses (Leigh Ann) of Marquez, TX., and Melissa Moses-Garner (Mike) of Pray Montana; Great-grandchildren-Max, Archie, Marshall, Malachi, Mercy, Charity, Titus, Benny and Maverick Moses of New Braunfels Tx, Shyann and Lucas Moses of Marquez Tx, Mia Ange of Franklin Tx and Grayson Bain (Alyss) of Dallas Tx.  He is also survived by his siblings, Alice, Elsie, Larry, Darlene, and Charlene, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2026, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Pawnee Cemetery.
