Mary Rose Perez

Mary Rose Perez, age 66, passed away on December 16, 2025.

Born in Brownsville, Texas, on October 23, 1959, Mary Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ann Cleary and Francisco (Frank) Borja Arzamendi.

She was the younger sister of Josephine (Josie) Marie (William) Weaver.

Mary Rose is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ricardo Perez, and daughters: Amanda, Rikki, and Christen.

She will be remembered for her boundless curiosity, strong will, and exceptional kindness. A teacher (Rivera High School and Faulk Middle School), minister, mother, wife, and friend—Mary Rose will be laid to rest at San Antonio De Padua Cemetery in Aransas Pass, Texas.

A private service will be held; in lieu of flowers, consider donating to Alzheimer's Disease International.
