Mary Ellen Nixon

Mary Nixon, 65, a resident of Rockport, Texas, went to her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, September 23, 2025. She was born January 03, 1960 in Rockport, Texas, to Louise and Mary DelaMure.

 Mary was the devoted wife of Charles Ray Nixon of 43 years and the loving mother of Michelle Rene Beaven-Benedict (Bobbi), Ruby Lee Beaven, Evan Caesar Beaven (Renee), Phyllis Adrienna Beaven Mayes (Marlin), and Victoria Shanelle Nixon (Felicia). She was a devoted aunt to her favorite nephew, Mark Emily Everett Brooks (Shelly). 

She is survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mary and Charles ran M & D Boat Works together for over 30 years.  Mary’s warmth, kindness, and dedication touched everyone she knew, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
