Marlene Brister

On July 29, 2024, heaven gained another angel, Marlene (Sue) Evelyn Brister nee Kielek joined her husband of 57 years, George W Brister along with her father Walter Lewis Kielek, mother Helen Elizabeth Kielek nee Joncak brother Michael Sikora Jr, and son Mark Albert Brister.

She is survived by her son, George W Brister daughter in law Christine; granddaughters, Heather S Brister, and Heidi S Nguyen; grandson, Adam Guinn; great-grandchildren, Skylar M Brister, Drake Z Guzman, Maddox L Guzman, Serenity R McNatt, Kai N Nguyen and Braylee A.L. Nguyen, all from Rockport. 

Marlene retired from Walmart after working for over 20 years. She enjoyed slowing down and spending time with her family. She especially cherished her special time with her great-grandchildren and watching her beloved horror movies. Marlene always had a great sense of humor that will be missed. 

Those who knew and loved her will cherish her memories.
