Maria Alba

On February 15, 2023 our beloved Maria G. Alba was called home to heaven by our lord Jesus Christ. She was 85 years old. Maria was preceded in death by her Husband of 56 years Robert Alba Sr., her parents Manuela & Felix Garcia Sr. Two sisters Macy Garcia, Rosie Rodriguez & brother David Garcia & her Grandson Robert Alba III

Maria was born in Rockport Texas On September 21st 1937. Maria & Robert were married September 12, 1954 before Robert was called to Heaven December 9, 2010. They had been residents of Aransas Pass since 1954.

Maria was survived by her brothers Martin Garcia (Mary) from Bloomington Texas & Felix Garcia Jr. Of Rockport Texas. Her children, son Robert Alba Jr (Mari) & 2 daughters Shirley Holden (David) & Angie Ortiz (Rene)

Grandchildren, Tanner Alba, Jeremiah Alba, Aaron Alba, Jacob Ortiz & 1 Granddaughter Amy Hevlin (Jason) & Numerous nieces & nephews

All who knew Maria knew she had a strong Christian faith & love for our lord Jesus Christ & the love she had for her family. Nieces, nephews, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank her physician Dr. Jorge Ramírez with Christus Spohn health and a special thank you to her Nephew Richard Zepeda & his wife Olivia for always being by her side, especially in her final days. Also, the family would like to thank Del Cielo Home Health and Hospice for their compassion and professionalism

A viewing will be held February 20th at Charlie Marshall funeral home from 1 pm - 8 pm

The funeral will follow on Tuesday, February 21st at Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass Tx.
