Macario Barrera passed away January 5, 2018. He was 78 years old. He was born March 10, 1939 in Yorktown, Texas to Ricardo and Catarina Barrera.
He was a lifetime resident of Gregory, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Barrera; son, Mario Barrera (Marie) both of Ingleside, Texas; brother, Bernardo Barrera; sisters, Catarina Pantoja and Palmira Hinojosa (Hilario) all of Portland, Texas; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary Recited at 7:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory, Texas. Burial will follow at Gregory Cemetery.
