Lorena Ann
Harmon

In Loving Memory of Lorena Harmon
With heavy hearts and unwavering faith, we celebrate the life of Lorena Harmon, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose love touched countless lives.
Lorena was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Holmes; her son, Dewane Williams; her grandmother, Alma Lightburn; and her grandfather, Oscar Harmon.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Vanessa Williams of Corpus Christi; her son, Derrick Williams and wife Itzel Williams of Aransas Pass; her mother, Annie Roberts of Aransas Pass; her father, Walter Bartie of Lake Charles, Louisiana; her sister, Alvira Blue-Roberts and husband Aaron Roberts of Aransas Pass; and her sister, Alleen Blue-Clayton and husband Jon Clayton of Phoenix, Arizona. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, Jonathon Holmes, Landon Blue-Roberts, Renee Dallasandro, and Owen Blue-Clayton.
Lorena was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jasmine Williams, Danaya Williams, Devyn Williams, Monae Campbell, Aiden Williams, Kamilla Williams, and Kora Williams. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Kehlani Williams and Novaleigh Williams. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were among the greatest joys of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She loved creating memories, sharing laughter, offering guidance, and surrounding them with unconditional love.
Lorena was a woman whose strength, wisdom, and unconditional love carried many through life's challenges. She never judged others and welcomed everyone with an open heart. To many, she was more than a friend or relative; she was a second mom, a mother figure, a confidant, and a source of comfort whenever someone needed encouragement, advice, or simply a listening ear.
Her laughter was contagious, her smile unforgettable, and her presence could light up any room she entered. People naturally gravitated toward her because she loved deeply and genuinely. She had a gift for making others feel seen, valued, and loved. She was known for her kind heart, her ability to make everyone feel like family, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met.
For 17 years, Lorena faithfully worked as a cook at Virginia's, where she took pride in serving others. Whether in the kitchen at work or at home, she expressed her love through cooking and bringing people together around a meal.
Lorena's faith was important to her. She gave her life to Christ and was baptized, surrounded by loved ones who witnessed this special moment. Her faith brought her peace, strength, and hope. She loved attending church and rarely wanted to miss a Sunday service. Her relationship with God was a source of comfort throughout her life.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, kindness, faith, and laughter will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."— 2 Timothy 4:7
