Loma McMahon

Loma Louise McMahon, 77, was called home by the Lord on the morning of March 7, 2026. She was born on September 2, 1948, in Joliet, Illinois. Loma lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to her family. She dedicated 38 years of service to California State University, Los Angeles before retiring. After retirement, she continued working alongside her beloved husband, Robert, at McMahon Construction Services for 5 years.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years Robert, her daughter Kristen, adopted daughter Cristin, two granddaughters, Jordan, and Kamryn, adopted granddaughter Roxanne, and adopted great-granddaughter, Emma, sister Sharon, and brother Russell, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Shirley, and son Kevin, and sister Sandra.

Loma was a giving, kindhearted, and faithful woman whose greatest joy in life was loving and caring for those around her. She loved shopping, cooking meals for her family, and traveling with her husband, making beautiful memories together. In her free time, Loma loved crocheting blankets for family, friends, and every new baby welcomed into the family. Each blanket was lovingly made and given as a symbol of her warmth, care, and generosity.

To her family and friends, Loma was known as the “Queen of Hearts.” Not only because she had a love for all things heart, but simply for her love of love. Her kindness, faith, and joyful spirit brightened the lives of everyone who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, the love she shared and the memories she created will live on in every “heart” she touched. We are blessed to have known Loma and all the memories created with her.
