Lloyd Cole

Lloyd Wayne Cole, 78 of Rockport went to be with his Lord and savior after a bout with various medical problems on Monday, April 3, 2023. Wayne was born on December 22, 1944 to Lloyd and Juanita Cole in Quanah, TX. After graduating from Lanier High School in Austin, TX, he served in the United States National Guard while attending Midwestern University and working at White's Appliance Store in Wichita Falls, TX. While there he met June Huddleston. They were married on November 4, 1967. They moved to Fort Worth where he worked for General Dynamics until there was a mass layoff. He then worked for Mrs. Baird's Bakery for 31years.  He loved spending time with the family. Teaching the grandchildren and eventually a couple of great grandsons how to camp, fish and play golf. His last thoughts were about those times and that we'd had a great life.
