Linda Sue Jones

Linda Sue Jones was born in Burlington, Iowa, on December 30th 1963.

Linda Graduated from Del Mar College with her Associates in Science. She went into the nursing program and graduated as a Registered Nurse. She was on the Dean’s List and listed in the “ Who’s Who” in America. She focused her career in the Operating Room as a Registered Nurse. She worked her entire career helping others. She had many friends in the industry who loved and adored her.

 She was a single mom of three children, and she worked so hard to make sure they had everything they needed. Later in life, her grandchildren were born, and they became her whole life. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world. She loved having her grandchildren at her house for sleepovers. She loved playing Monopoly, cooking food that would sometimes be burned, and simply getting lost in the love and laughter that came with all of her grandchildren in her presence. She loved watching and attending her grandchildren's sporting events, seeing them excel, and always made a point to show up to everything she could.

She loved having family get-togethers and BBQ’s and holiday dinners; it didn’t matter what the occasion was, she just wanted her family around her. She will be so incredibly missed; her sudden loss is felt immensely through her family. She is loved always and forever.

Linda is preceded in death by her grandparents, Wendell and Irene Burcham, and Miles Edna Dick; great-grandparents, Lillie and Carroll Burcham; aunts, Janice Perlstein. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joshua Cobb, Kristen Jones (Derek Teague), Chelsea (Travis) Irwin; Grandchildren, Zander Hernandez, Jason Hernandez, Blake Irwin, Hunter Bailey, and Chase Irwin; parents, Larry and Carolyn Dick; brother, Steve (Angie) Dick; Aunt and Uncles, Nancy and Art Southard, Marcia and Gary Dick, Wayne and Joe Burcham/Gulotta, Steven Perlstein, Dennis Burcham; numerous nieces, nephews , and cousins.
