LeAnn Joy Franklin, 63 passed away October 25, 2021. She was born February 14, 1958 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roger Hiram Ginter and Betty Jane Ginter, nephew Michael Ratts and Father-in-Law Eddie Franklin.

LeAnn graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelors degree in Education. She began her career as an Instructor of Cosmetology at Aladdin Beauty College in Wichita Falls, Texas and later moved to Weatherford High School in Weatherford, Texas. LeAnn played a significant role in inspiring leadership teams for Vocational Industrial clubs of America competitions.

She later went on to own and operate several hair salons for 30 years before retiring.

LeAnn always dreamed of living near the ocean and in 2015 she found her home in Ingleside on the Bay.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Scott Franklin; daughter, Kelly Gibson; sisters, Linette Francisco and husband Ron Francisco, Jennifer Morris and husband Joe Morris; grandchildren, Chaselyn Gibson and Kyle Gibson; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended friends and family members who will greatly miss her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass.
