Larry Anthony Flores passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at the age of 67. He was born on August 16, 1958, in 29 Palms, California, to Theodore Flores and Sofia Abundez Flores.
Larry attended Aransas Pass High School and, on January 6, 1979, married the love of his life, Anna Maria Solis Flores. Their marriage was a beautiful example of love, loyalty, and partnership, and together they built a life centered on faith and family.
A lifelong Jehovah’s Witness, Larry was deeply devoted to his faith and lived each day guided by its principles. He was known as a hardworking, faithful man and a true family man who took pride in caring for those he loved. Larry found joy in the simple things in life, especially spending time on his golf cart, enjoying the outdoors and the peace it brought him.
Larry was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a cherished son, brother, and friend. His steady presence, kind heart, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Theodore Flores, and his sister, Elizabeth Gonzales.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Maria Flores; his dear mother, Sofia Abundez Flores, age 90; his son, Larry Anthony Flores II (Kay Katherine); his daughter, Starr Ann Thompson (Zechariah); his beloved grandchildren, Raven Davis, Julien Thompson, Jarred Flores, Zayden Flores, Liam Thompson, Ariana Flores, and Paxtyn Flores; his siblings, Elizabeth Gonzales (Rudy), Theodore Flores Jr. (Sandra), Michelangelo Flores, Roseanna Flores (Jay), Elsa Regina Flores, Nicodemas Flores (Gloria), and Obadiah Flores (Lori); and many dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Aransas Pass Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 1649 Deberry Ave., Aransas Pass, Texas 78336.
Larry will be remembered for his unwavering faith, strong work ethic, and the deep love he had for his family. He will always be missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him
