Kit Adams was born on October 28, 1965, in Lubbock, Texas. He grew up in Portland, Texas and graduated from Portland High School in 1984.

 Kit was a magnificent chef and enjoyed barbecuing with friends and family. He also loved to hunt and fish. Kit would help anyone, often going out of his way to assist others in need. Kit could fix anything. He was a great mechanic, welder, electrician and builder of all things needed.

 Kit is survived by his two sons, Curtis and Drake Adams. He has numerous nieces and nephews plus four grandchildren, Axel, Evie, Gracelyn, and Ariselli. His siblings are Holly Foster, Deann King and Curtis Adams. Kit is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Hill Adams and his mother, Jovita Lois Rindflish
