Kenneth "Rocky" Martin

June 4, 1954 — September 21, 2025

Rockport

Kenneth Randolph Martin (“Rocky”), age 71, was called to his eternal resting place on September 21, 2025. He entered this world on June 4, 1954, in Wharton, Texas. -On June 29, 1974, Rocky married the love of his life, Patty Martin. Together they shared 51 wonderful years of marriage, building a beautiful life and family grounded in love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Rocky found true joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially his time at the ranch, driving his tractor, taking evening ranger rides to spot wildlife, and watching the sun dip below the horizon. Affectionately known as “Papa Rock,” he treasured his six grandsons beyond measure. Whether fishing, boating, going to the ranch, or cheering from the sidelines of their many sports, Rocky was their biggest fan. Above all, he cherished being a father to his two daughters. Wrapped around their little fingers from the very beginning, Rocky gave his whole heart to his girls and created a lifetime of treasured memories with them.

In 1985, Rocky founded American Oilfield Supply, a successful business that marked the beginning of a long and accomplished career in the oilfield industry. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to pursue several other ventures over the years, always with determination and integrity. Rocky lived a life full of gratitude—for the love of his devoted wife, his close-knit family, and the countless dear friends who enriched his days. His strong faith in the Lord was a guiding light throughout his life and now forms the foundation of the legacy he leaves behind.

Rocky is survived by his loving wife, Patty Martin; his daughters, Kendra Facundo (Oscar) and Kristen Bingham (Derek); and his six cherished grandsons: Pierce, Cruz, Dax, Nash, Knox, and Kroix. He is also survived by his sisters, Susan Chlebek, Laura Krpec (Herman), and Lisa Noble (Rayner); and by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Melinda Pierce.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Connie Martin, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Leona Pierce.
