Kenneth Moses, 86, went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2026.

Kenneth Moses was born on April 23, 1940, in Three Rivers, Texas, to John and Margie Moses. One of thirteen children, he spent his early childhood on a farm in Pawnee before moving to Aransas Pass.

Kenneth worked as a tugboat captain for more than fifty years. Away from the water, he enjoyed playing dominoes, metal detecting, and driving his Model T to Cracker Barrel to share coffee and conversation with friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of forty-six years, Charlcie Moses; his parents, John and Margie Moses; and his siblings Willie, Fannie, Pud, Monroe, Charles, and Vernon.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Robert Bryant, Melissa Smeins and her husband, Shane, and Janice White and her husband, Richard; his five grandchildren, Stephen, Haley, Shawn, Matthew, and Ian; and his great-grandchild, Logan. He is also survived by his siblings Larry, Elsie, Alice, Mitchell, Charlene, and Darlene, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kenneth will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenneth’s memory to the Visiting Angels Foundation.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas.  Interment will be private.
