Kalin Rosales

Kalin Royce Rosales of Corpus Christi, TX passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. He was 33 years young. Kalin came into this world on July 21, 1988, immensely loved to parents Duane and Jeaneen Rosales in Rockville, MD. Mostly growing up in Virginia, Kalin attended Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, VA before coming to Texas in 2012. Kalin's great love was soccer. He started playing at age 4, playing for many Select Soccer teams along with local pick-up teams throughout his life. Eventually, he became a USL semi-professional soccer player with the Virginia Beach Piranhas along with coaching future little soccer players. For about 3 years Kalin also did modeling on the side while starting his own business, Custom Garages, which created themed garages. He would later come to Texas and partner with his father with R & R Remodeling. Kalin had a sharp mind along with a big heart for animals and the great outdoors. He had a magnetic personality with a mischievous side which made him very popular wherever he went. His immense kindness to others endeared him to all who met him throughout his short life. Kalin, with that unforgettable charming crooked smile, will be missed by many.

Kalin is survived by his mother, Jeaneen Rosales of Hampton, VA and father, Duane Rosales (Lorna Reilly, wife) of Port Aransas, TX; paternal grandmother, Barbara Scott of Port Aransas, TX; maternal grandmother, Judy Mehalcik of Glassport, PA, and maternal grandfather, George Mehalcik of Henderson, NV; 5 uncles; and numerous cousins, being closest to his cousin Cameron Mehalcik of Port Vue, PA.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Aransas Harbors Condominium Club House, 230 Cut-Off Road, Port Aransas, TX (near ferry landing). Testimonials of Kalin’s life are encouraged during this special celebration. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
