Juan Robert Torres

Juan Robert “Nino” Torres, 65 of Aransas Pass, TX. passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at his home. Juan was born on January 2, 1956 to parents Telesforo and Enriqueta Hernandez Torres and was a lifelong resident of the area. He enjoyed gardening and loved animals, especially his beloved pigeon “Baby Jones” and his 2 cats.  Juan also loved spending time with his family and was of Catholic faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Paul, Manuel, and Alfred Torres; and sisters, Ramona Valdez and Patsy Torres.
Survivors include his brothers, Telesforo Torres, Jr. of Aransas Pass, TX., Joe H. Torres of Houston, TX., and Angel (Gloria) Torres of Aransas Pass, TX.; sisters, Virginia Logsdon of Ingleside, TX., Julia (Ted) Esquivel and Jennie Moreno of Aransas Pass, TX., Maria Elrod of Goliad, TX., and Rose Patterson of Aransas Pass, TX; several nieces and nephews, and his furbabies, Baby Jones, Kia, and Homeless.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 4 -7 pm, followed immediately by the Rosary at 7 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. A Memorial Mass will take place the following day on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 10 am at St. Mary's, Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
