Juanito Garcia Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juanito Garcia Jr., age 52, of Rockport, Texas, who departed this life on January 19, 2026. Born on July 24, 1973, in Sinton, Texas, Juanito exemplified kindness and generosity throughout his life. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Leticia Garcia, on November 14, 2001, and together they created a loving home filled with laughter and joy. Juanito was the cherished son of Belinda Tijerina and Juanito Garcia Sr., as well as Barbara Garcia. His professional life as a mechanic for KIEWIT was marked by a deep passion for his craft, especially in his dedication to working on cars—his favorite being his Jeep. Juanito's commitment to his work was matched only by his selfless nature; he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His warmth and compassion touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Leticia Garcia, and their children: Jesse John Garcia, Michael Garcia, Briana Garcia, Juanito Garcia III, Luis Garcia, Marisa Garcia, and Chrystal Perez. Juanito also leaves behind several cherished grandchildren, as well as his siblings: Simon Garcia, Roxanne (Lupe) Hawkins, Heather Garcia, and Naomi Ramon. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandfathers, Simon Garcia and Julian Ybarra Tijerina, and his grandmother, Olga Perez Tijerina. 

Juanito Garcia Jr. will be forever loved and remembered in the hearts of those he left behind. May his spirit continue to inspire kindness and generosity in others.

 A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 1:00 p.m. and a funeral service to follow at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas.
