Joseph Angelo Militello

Joseph Angelo Militello, 81, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026. He was born on October 29, 1944 in St. Augustine, Florida to Angelo and Carmela Militello. 

Joseph spent much of his life working in the shrimping industry in Fort Myers, Florida, and Aransas Pass, Texas. He was known for his dedication to his work, his sense of humor, and his deep love for his family.  In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his horses. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Carmela Militello; his sisters, Rosemarie Hogan, Grace Reedy, and Angela Jones; and his brother, James Militello.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marie Masters Militello; his children, Michelle Yoder (Ronald), Joanne Blair (Richard), and Mark Militello (Rachel); nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. 

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held April 23, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas.
