Jose M. Hinojosa

Jose M. (aka Joe and Junior) Hinojosa, 78, passed away on October 6, 2024 in Rockport, TX after a meaningful and serving life. Joe was born on August 10, 1946, to Jose T. Hinojosa Sr. and Tomas (Morales) in Taft, TX.

Joe married Patricia Noble December of 1984. During their 40 years of marriage, they had two children: Tricia, his spirited daughter, and Ryan his trusting son. He was a supportive hero to his children and lovingly called Popo by all his grandchildren whom he spoiled. He was a 32nd degree mason and a Shriner. He was a God fearing, Jesus loving, devoted Christian man with a generous heart. He was an avid fisherman, football enthusiast, and boxing/work-out devotee.

Joe is preceded in death by his Parents; daughter Rachael; Siblings, Tuton, Pete, Cecil, Ishmael, and Ernestine.

Left to honor his memory are, wife Patty; daughter Tricia Renee (Salvador Alvear); sons, Ryan Noble Hinojosa (Hollie), Tito Hinojosa; brothers, Johnny Garcia, Robert Hinojosa; sisters, Antonia Garcia (Antonio), Janie Houck, Jerry Garza (Gilbert); grandchildren, Maddy Hinojosa (Henry), Kenzie Hinojosa, Isaac, Ian, Davis, Diego Alvear, Sofia Alvear, Travis Hinojosa; great grandson Alon Mendez.
