Jose Gonzalez

Jose A. Gonzalez, the son of Manuel Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, Texas, died on August 21, 2021.  Pepe was born on January 21, 1954, to Manuel Gonzalez and Maria Arrendondo.

Jose is survived by his wife, Luisa Gonzalez; Children. Mark Gonzalez, Terry Gonzalez, Liza Gonzalez, Cindy Gonzalez, Frank Perez, Rachel Perez, Mildred Yzaguirre, and Gilbert Flores; 27 Grandchildren, his 14 Great-Children, and 3 sisters Lorraine Moya, Dalia Gonzalez, and Amelia Galvan.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Manuel Gonzalez(father), Maria Moya(Mother), and his sister Celia Rodriguez.

No one who met Jose “Pepe” Gonzalez forgot his infectious passion for trying to have fun and trying to make you laugh.  He was a musician, mechanic, a dad, son, uncle, grandfather and a good friend to many.  He loved watching episodes of rifleman and anything that came on black and white.  Pepe loved to spend time with his grandchildren and loved and cared about his family.  The last couple of years of his life had been a struggle but he never gave up the good fight.  He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.  He is now in paradise.  Amen

A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on August 25 at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes on 2003 West Wheeler Avenue in Aransas Pass, Texas.
