In Loving Memory of Jorge Acosta

May 11, 1956 – October 15, 2025

A Heart of Gold

Jorge Acosta was a man with a heart of pure gold. He was always there for anyone in need and had a special love for children. He adored his eight dogs — they were his babies, along with his two wonderful daughters. He raised one of his daughters as his very own, and his love for his family was endless. Everything he did came from a place of kindness, warmth, and love.

A Devoted Husband

Jorge often said that the best thing that ever happened to him was his wife, Gloria. Together, they shared countless beautiful moments — sitting by the water, enjoying lunch with their dogs by their side, and simply enjoying life together. Their love was deep and gentle, full of laughter and understanding. Anyone who saw them could feel the bond they shared.

A Hard Worker and Proud Man

Jorge was one of the hardest-working men you could ever meet. He worked tirelessly and took great pride in everything he did. He cared deeply for his home and his cars, always keeping them in perfect condition. Jorge could never sit still — he always had to be doing something, staying busy, and finding joy in life’s little moments.

A Family Man at Heart

Family was everything to Jorge. His kindness, warmth, and love touched everyone who knew him. He loved sitting outside with a cup of coffee, enjoying the breeze, and chatting with friends and neighbors. Those who knew him will remember his big heart, gentle spirit, and the way he made everyone feel special and loved.

Loving Family

Jorge is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Acosta; his daughters, Anna Samora and April (Eloy) Gracia; and his three precious grandchildren, Leah, Adrian, and Brinna Garcia. He is also survived by his brothers, Pete Ortiz and Pepe Ortiz, and his sister, Marie (Justo) Delgado.

He was welcomed into heaven by his beloved parents, Pete and Juanita Ortiz; his brother and sister-in-law, Freddie (Sylvia) Ortiz; his sisters-in-law, Beatrice Samora and Mary Cruces; his mother-in-law, Lydia Samora; his brother-in-law, Paul Samora Jr.; and his nieces, Kathy Samora and Alana Ortiz.

Forever Loved and Remembered

Jorge is now resting peacefully in heaven, reunited with his loved ones — and surrounded once again by some of his puppies, playing happily by his side. Though he may be gone from this world, his love and spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him. He will always be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the way he loved with all his heart.
