Johnny Davis

Johnny T. Davis passed away on February 2, 2023 he was 83 years old. He was born January 6, 1940, in Athens, Alabama to James and Molly Davis.

Johnny was a long-time resident of Aransas Pass and Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a member of the St. Johns United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas where he was a past President of the Methodist Mens Club and also the secretary and treasurer, he was also a Masonic Member 32nd Degree in Aransas Pass, Texas, and an active member of the Shriners in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Davis; parents, James E. Davis and Molly E. Davis; sister, Opal Dean Stephens; brother, William E, Davis.

He is survived by his son, James R. Davis (Cassie) of Portland, Texas; daughter, Debbie L. Davis of Nacogdoches, Texas; brother, Gary W. Davis (Joann) of Austin, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Claire E. Davis, Paul Smith, T. Frank Smith V, Timothy Brownlee, and Kristi Schnell; 12 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas.  The funeral service will be Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 10:00 am also at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Interment to follow at the Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Portland, Texas.
