John Mitchell

John Thomas Mitchell, Sr., 78 passed away August 1, 2021. He was born August 17, 1942 in Bisbee, Arizona to Foy Cecil Mitchell and Edna Louise Clark Mitchell. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his son, Cecil Vernon Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife, June Mitchell of Rockport; son, John Thomas Mitchell, Jr. of San Angelo; daughter, Kim LeAnn Mitchell of Grape Creek; stepdaughter, Lea-Ann Arnold of Rockport; grandchildren, Blaine, Bridgett, Keely, Garrick, Ryan; great grandchildren, Carsyn, Casyn, Sky and Kalli.

A service with Military Honors will be held at a later date at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
