John Evans

John Evans was born on August 30,1959 to James and Glenna Evans, in Galveston, Texas. John was a lifelong resident of Aransas Pass and passed away on June 7, 2020 after a long battle with liver and kidney disease. He was 60 years of age.

John is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Mark "Cornbread" Evans and Robert "Fat Bob" Evans; the mother of his son, Terrie Lynn Blocker; and second wife, Ronda Mayo.

He is survived by his son, Shane Evans; three brothers, James L. Evans(Penny), Danny Evans and Gary Evans; his mother-in-law, Carolyn Blocker and sister-in-law, Renda Rushing.

James was a very caring person and always helped others in times of need. He was an amazing father and a loyal friend. James was a lifelong resident of Aransas Pass and was a commercial fisherman out of Conn Brown Harbor. He will be deeply missed!
