John Balyeat

John A Balyeat, 78, of Rockport, Texas passed away April 01, 2022. He was Born in Sturgis, Michigan on December 24, 1943. John graduated from Hastings High School in Hastings Michigan. He married Lauretta Guernsey. John worked as a metal machinist until he retired on November 30, 2008. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rockport and the Aransas County Wood Carvers. He had a passion for wood carving and playing dominoes.

John is preceded in death by his wife Lauretta, his father and mother. He is survived by his son James Robert Balyeat and wife Danielle of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Troy John Balyeat of Lansing, Michigan, grandchildren Brittney Balyeat of Lowell, Michigan, Faith and Bradon Orling of Grand Rapids, Michigan, brother Lowell Denman of Sturgis, Michigan and sister Linda Balyeat of Rockport, Texas.

A memorial service is scheduled for First Baptist Church of Rockport July 22, 2022
