Joan Arlene Dushinske

Joan Arlene Dushinske 89 of Rockport, TX passed away peacefully on July 13, 2023.

She was born in The Bronx, New York on November 27, 1933.  Joan attended public schools and graduated from Evander Childs High School as Class Valedictorian.  She received a Scholarship to New York University in Art Education.

She devoted her life to her family and her art.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband William C. Dushinske, and her first husband  Thomas Redden, daughter Diane and son Thomas Jr.

She was a member of Rockport Center of the Arts and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children John M. Redden (Kathryn) Michael G. Redden (Karen) Carol Murray (Thomas) Stepchildren Sarah Bradford (Tom) Mark Dushinske (Jan) brother Robert Benedict (MaryAnn) as well as beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Rockport Tx with a viewing on Thursday July 20th 3:00pm-8:00pm (Rosary at 7:00pm) and a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 10:00am Friday July 21st.
