It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of Jim Harold Longbotham on October 29, 2026.

Jim was born on September 16, 1944 in Ingleside, Texas to Ray Elmo and Ocie Mae Bruce Longbotham.

Jim graduated from Ingleside High School and attended Del Mar College , he later was employed by Borden Milk Company and than retired from the state working as a senor deckhand at the Port Aransas ferrys.

Jim met and married the love of his life Carol Ann Longbotham in November 15, 1968.

Jim volunteered for the Fire Department of both Ingleside and Aransas Pass for close to 20 years.

Jim’s favorite past time was spending quality time with his family, especially with his beloved grandchildren.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Tommy and Kelly Longbotham along with his sister Edna Ray .

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol Ann Longbotham, daughters Sharon , Melissa and Breana along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials maybe made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
