Jesus Zuniga

Jesus Zuniga, 85, of Aransas Pass passed away on December 21, 2022.  He was born to Ygancio and Marguerita Zuniga on August 7, 1937, in Aransas Pass. He is preceded in death by his parents and most of his siblings. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Aurora Zuniga; his sister Juanita Zuniga; his children Peggy Z. Gonzales, Mary Zuniga, Jessie (Carol) Zuniga, Norma Torres, Danny (Denise) Zuniga and J.J. Zuniga, David Zuniga; his nephew Joe Heiman; his grandchildren, Allie Zuniga, Lunetta Zuniga, Chrysta Torres, Christ Torres, Rene Torres, Christian Zuniga, Michael Zuniga, Jacob Zuniga, Jessie Rodriguez, Gabe Rodriguez, Felix Rodriguez, Abigail Rodriguez, and Vannessa Rodriguez, Gabby Rodriguez, Ellex Tony Gonzales. Jesus had a passion for life.  He never met a stranger and his love for people was immeasurable.  His favorite hobby for over fifty years was shucking oysters.

Services are under the direction of Charlie Marshall Funeral Home.  Visitation will be on Monday, December 26, 2022, from 10 am to 1 PM, at the Aransas Pass location.  There will be a rosary service starting at 1:00 pm, with Deacon A. Provencio presiding, a funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.

Burial will be on Monday, December 26, 2022, at 3:00 pm in San Antonio Cemetery, Aransas Pass.
