He is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his children, Larissa Martinez and Ashly Martinez both of San Antonio, Texas, Jesse James Martinez, Jr., Jimmy Ray Martinez and Jeremiah Martinez all of Rockport, Texas, Jacob Martinez of Houston, Texas; mother, Josefa Martinez; brother, Dennis Martinez (Cayla) all of Rockport, Texas; sisters, Lorronica Martinez of Huntsville, Alabama, Rose Marie Davis (James) of Gulfport, Mississippi; two grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private family service will be held.
