Jerry Anglin

September 18, 1954 — December 15, 2025

Jerry Anglin, of Texarkana, passed away peacefully at his nursing home after a long struggle with dementia. He was born in Greeley, Colorado, and spent the majority of his life in Texarkana, where he built a career marked by hard work, integrity, and genuine care for others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Anglin and Joyce Stroh, and his sister, Janice Russel. He is survived by his daughter, Liz Anglin; his son, Rusty Anglin, and Rusty's wife, Laken Anglin; and his cherished grandchild, Myers.

Jerry dedicated much of his life to his work, founding and leading two environmental companies-Haz-Tech and Summitt Environmental. He took pride not only in their success but in the strong, people-first culture he built within them-one that reflected his belief in treating everyone with fairness and respect.

Though he wasn't one for adventure, Jerry found peace in the mountains of Colorado, where he grew up and often returned to relax and reflect. Those mountains held a special place in his heart throughout his life.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or formal service. His ashes will be scattered in his favorite place-the mountains of Colorado-where his spirit will rest amid the landscape he loved most.
