It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Javier Tamayo, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. Born on March 5, 1968, in San Antonio, TX, Javier's life was one of creativity and expression, with a passion for art and tattoos that touched the lives of those around him.

As we prepare to honor and celebrate Javier's life, we remember the joy he brought to all who knew him. His artistic talents and love for ink will forever be remembered, a testament to his unique spirit and vision.

Javier's journey on this earth came to an end on June 26, 2024, in Rockport, TX, leaving behind his mother, Sylvia Overmyer, who will continue to cherish his memory. He is also survived by his beloved son, Christopher Romero, numerous grandchildren, and his brother, Arturo Tamayo. In his passing, Javier joins his late father, Javier Tamayo Sr, grandmother Elvira Ayales, and sister, Cynthia Ayala.
