Jason Shannon

Jason Royce Shannon, Born February 8, 1988, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Rhonda Lynn Shannon and James Royce Shannon, departed this world January 23, 2022. Jason resided in Ingleside, TX, but grew up in Rockport, TX.

Anyone that knew Jason would know he had a good heart and could make anyone laugh; he certainly was the life of the party. His truest passion as a teen was playing the Tenor Sax in the Rockport-Fulton Fighting Pirate Band and as an adult becoming a Sous Chef. He had a strong passion for cooking and could come up with numerous dishes. In more recent time, Jason's passion became his daughter, Penelope Ruth Shannon, there wasn't anything that he wouldn't do for his little girl.

Jason is survived by his wife Alexandra Fryman, his daughter Penelope Ruth Shannon, his parents, Rhonda Lynn Robles (Shannon, Burkham), and James Royce Shannon, his sister Heather Nicole McKean (Shannon), His Nephew Paul Armour James, His Niece Shayla Rayne Wall, his Uncles Charles Potter (Beaver) and Thomas Potter (Packy), and his Aunts Penni Buchanan, Jessica Ontiveros (Burkham), Raquel Burkham, Kimberly Hamilton (Shannon), and Lezley Bearden (Shannon), as well as numerous Cousins.

A Celebration of life will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Rockport Bayfront Beach Pavillion (1st Pavillion) Rockport, Texas 78382
