Janis Ann Stephens passed away at her Rockport residence on October 10, 2019. She was 76 years old. Janis was born in Gulfport, Mississippi on August 17, 1943 to Orvan and Delma Jones.
Janis is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother; Norman K. Jones.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles Stevens.
Janis was an enthusiastic teacher and especially enjoyed teaching Jr. High. She had a double Bachelor’s and a double Master’s degree. She will be greatly missed.
