James Earl Moore

James Earl Moore,85, of Aransas Pass, Texas, passed away on June 6, 2023. He was born in Anderson, SC., on July 16, 1937, to parents, Eugene and Ivor Moore.  

James graduated from Seneca High School. Then went on to join the Air Force and became a Flight Engineer serving from 1955-1978. He married his wife, Ella May Moore in November of 1996. After his service he worked at Brown and Root Harbor Island, Gulf Marine, and Corpus Christi Army Depot. He was a Life member of the Ingleside VFW Post. He loved Clemson football, fishing and spoiling his dog Izzy.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ivor Moore; four brothers, Russell, George, Richard, and Buddy Moore; sister, Lucille Virginia Moore.  

James is survived by his loving wife, Ella May Moore; children, Derrick More, Tracy Farenthold, Dany’ Vieau, Gary Burgess, Gregory Burgess, Gail Burgess; seventeen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Moore and special sister-in-law, Wanda Benavedas ; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2023, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2023, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Aransas Memorial Park.
