James Farmer

James (Jim) Louis Farmer passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends on February 26, 2022. Jim was born on November 7th, 1948, in Trenton Illinois to Lowell Dennis Farmer and Edna Judith (Cervi) Farmer.

He served honorably in the Army with a tour in Vietnam. He worked in the oil industry and ran his own business in marine repair until he retired.

He married Cathy Lorraine (Grupe) Farmer August 30th, 1980. They resided in Rockport, TX from 1980.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Cathy Farmer. His children: Shawna (Adam) Rios, Gerri (Tommie) Timourian, Joseph Farmer (dec), Jennifer Black (Larry Lockett), Jason Farmer (Karen), Shea Page (Casey Todd), Heather Osgood (Ray Harrod). Grandchildren Megan, Mikeal, Sean, Kaila, Nathan, Cody, Vincent, Alyssa, Shawn, Joseph (JR), Jonathon, Faith, Jimmy, Colton. Great-grandchildren Bella and Daniel.
