James Richard Cole Jr. passed away on April 3, 2022. He was 82 years old. He was born April 5, 1939 in Burlington, Iowa to James Richard Cole Sr. and Merle Genevieve Kilgore Cole.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Thompson of Rockport, Texas, sons, David Cole of Orange Grove, Texas, and Patrick Cole of Hamilton, Illinois; daughters, Kimberly Richins of Macomb, Illinois, and Breanne Walker of Des Moines, Iowa; brother, Max Cole of Smithshire, Illinois; 5 grandchildren.
