Irene Vasquez

Irene Vasquez, 92, was called to her eternal resting place on April 25, 2021. She entered this world on September 25, 1928 in Ingleside, TX, born to Emilio Soto and Ambrosia Davila Soto. Irene owned and operated Irene’s Flower Shop in Ingleside for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pedro Vasquez and sister, Conception Head.

Irene is survived by her sons, Juan Soto Vasquez, Rene Emilio Vasquez (Christina); grandchildren, John Vasquez, Jason Vasquez, Christina Vasquez, Marcella Aguilar Victoria Vasquez, Lisa Vasquez, Rene Vasquez, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Matthew, Gabriella, Rene, III, Adam, Zoe, Wyatt, Christopher John, Clara; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family.

Visitation will be held from 9a.m.-12p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. Graveside service will follow at 2p.m. at Rockport Cemetery.
