Heather Doreen Siochain Brock

June 14, 1964 — December 28, 2025

Startzville, Texas

Heather Doreen Síocháin Brock, 61, passed away peacefully in her home with all her family by her side in Startzville, Texas on December 28th 2025.

She was born in Houston, Texas to John and Patricia Lance on June 14th 1964. On August 30th, 1986, Heather married her husband and father of her two children to Kelly Sean Brock at a double wedding ceremony with her sister Paige Lance and Kelly’s best friend Adam Ogan.

She lived most of her life as a resident of Aransas Pass, Tx. She later moved to Startzville, Texas to be closer to her two children Justin and Katherine Brock, her adopted son Austin Dellinger and to her two sisters Mollie Lance and Rose Rivers. All five were close to her and able to help her in the final years of her life.

She was one of Jehovah’s Witness throughout her life. Being a Jehovah’s Witness brought her hope and peace in her life. She shared this hope and peace with her closest friends and family.

Heather was as loving as a human could be. It showed in all that she did. She was always the first to offer to help with ongoing events, being a wedding, funeral, or graduation. She wanted to pour her heart into the help she gave to her friends and family. Heather and her sister, by choice Rose Rivers were known for their ability to bake and decorate professional level cakes. There were many special events that had a Heather and Rose designed cake made for it. It brought Heather great joy to be able to contribute to friends and family events.

She loved music. She had a very diverse taste in music and was incredibly passionate about going to concerts. Going to concerts was her favorite past time. Music was a major healing outlet for her.

Heather has a deep love of animals. She enjoyed bird watching either in her back yard with the bird feeders she put out or exploring the Aransas Wildlife Refuge. Her favorite animals were always her dogs. Heathers love for dogs was seen over the years with the care she gave to her dogs. Her dogs were basically additional children around her house.

Heathers’ unconditional love was seen most with her family. She loved her family and most of all her children. She would do anything for her children. Heather and her sister Paige would homeschool their children. Heathers home was a sanctuary for many children to come and have a safe place to feel loved. She adopted many kids and treated them as her own. She even adopted a sister, Rose Rivers, because six siblings were not enough for Heathers to love.

Heather was a beacon of joy for many people. The love she spread will continue to be spread for years to come.

Heather was preceded in death by her father John Lance, her husband Kelly Brock, her niece Breanna May Lance, her maternal grandparents Gaudie and Edna Lindley, her paternal grandparents John and Mollie Lance, and her childhood best friend Michelle

Heather is survived by her two birth children Katherine and Justin Brock, and her son by choice Austin Dellinger, her mother Patricia “Pat” Lance, her siblings Mollie Lance, Paige (Adam) Ogan, Woodrow Lance, Janae (Caleb) Warren, Audrey Cervantes, John (Samatha) Lance, her sister by choice Rose (Tim) Rivers, and ex sister in laws Tammy Lance and Joann Lance, her nieces and nephews Adam “AJ”, Austin, Shayna, Peyton, Joshua, Laura Ann, Alexis, Ramsey, Olivia, Maddy, Taylor, Billy, Maverick, John, and multiple great nieces and nephews that were such an important part of her life.
