Hazel Shedd

Hazel Mary Shedd, 77, of Aransas Pass, Tx passed away on January 5, 2021. She was born in Ispwich, England on April 14, 1943, daughter of the late Samuel Corbyn and the late Emily Brooks.

She is survived by her spouse, Earl Shedd. Her daughter Susan Hall (Larry Hall). She is also survived by her grandchildren Nicole Geerdes (Katie Hebert), Kyle Hall, Autum Yeager, Paige Hall, Chase Hall, Morgan Hall, and Brooke Hall. Her great-grandchildren include Keegan Herbert, Logan Lyon, and Kennedy Geerdes. Surviving siblings include Sheila Denny (Clive Denny), John Brooks (Jacky Brooks), Billy Brooks, all of Ipswich, England.

She was preceded in death by her children Earl Shedd Jr. and Julie Geerdes (Patrick Geerdes); siblings, Doreen Allen (Gerald Allen) and Michael Corbyn.

She first came to the United States from England in 1960. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Earl, to England, Spain, France, and Stateside during his 22 years in Air Force before retiring to Aransas Pass. She loved having her family around her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 5:00-8:00 pm Thursday, January 7, 2021. Funeral Service held at 10:00 am Friday, January 8, 2021 all at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass, TX.
