Guadalupe Torres

Guadalupe De La Rosa Torres, 80 passed away April 3, 2022. She was born May 19, 1941 in Mercedes, Texas. Guadalupe was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who left this world to join her loved ones in eternal salvation.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Facundo Torres; son, Juan Jose Torres and daughter, Sylvia Combs.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her three daughters, Maggie Flores, Cristina Estrada (Joe), Monica McCracken (Patrick); 11 grandchildren, Cassie, George, Erica, Eric, Miranda, Jacob, John, Michael, Denise, Anthony, Anna; 2 great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Norah and numerous nephews and nieces.

Guadalupe loved her family and her faith very much. She was a devoted rosary prayer warrior for so many and consistently turned to her faith for guidance and strength.

Visitation will be held from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. with Holy Rosary recited at 7:00p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Rockport. Funeral procession will begin at 10:45a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 from Charlie Marshall Funeral Home going to Sacred Heart Catholic Church where Mass will be celebrated at 11:00a.m. Burial will be private at a later date.
