Gordon L. Carpenter, 95, went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2019. He was born on February 3, 1924, to parents Guy Leslie and Edith Mae, in Abilene, Kansas.

Preceded in death by parents, Guy Leslie and Edith Mae; sister, Phillis Rae; brother, Curtis J. Carpenter and Guy Junior Carpenter; sister-in-law, Anna Mae Carpenter.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Ruby Carpenter; sons, Kenneth M. Carpenter (Elaine) and Ruben Carpenter (Julie); daughters, Marsha Brooks (Wendell) and Priscilla Haldeman (Mark); brother, Ronnie Carpenter; sisters, Janie Kuehn (Ron) and Joyce Herr; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home located in Aransas Pass, TX. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas.
