Gerald (Jerry) Sanders

Gerald (Jerry) Wesley Sanders, Born January 17, 1947, In Three Rivers, TX to JC Sanders and Eva Ruth Goff, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2021. Gerald resided in Rockport, TX where he loved living near the beach. Gerald was a Vietnam War Veteran who served in the Navy. He loved to travel with the military and later with his wife, Rosemary. He was a jack of all trades with an early career in appliance repair and construction. He retired as a maintenance supervisor from ACISD where he worked from 1996-2015.

He loved hunting, fishing, and most of all his western movies with John Wayne. His family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren always made his day. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife Rose Mary Sanders. He leaves behind his 4 siblings (JC Sanders, Jr.(Judy), Bettey Prophet, Ruth Ann Jones(Ralph) & Brenda Samford (David), His blended children (Wesley Sanders (Traci), Patricia Arnold (Ross), Tammy Webster(Ronald), Rhonda Robles, Penni Buchanan, Charles Potter & Thomas Potter (Susie), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Military Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday,  August 20, 2021, at Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery.
